Clio.

Clio Garland received a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Purchase. She pursued her interest in psychology at Columbia University, where she was awarded a M.A. and M.Ed.  Clio received her M.S.W. and Postmasters in Family Therapy from CUNY’s Hunter College. She continued her advanced clinical and couples therapy at the Family Institute of Westchester where she trained with Betty Carter a prominent leader in the field of Family Therapy.

 

Clio has over 25 years in private practice counseling couples, individuals and families. Her previous experience includes: counseling in family agencies, with federal employees, supervising therapists; developing and running groups for parents of children on the spectrum.

 

Clio is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
